Formosa Winery Tasting House in Central Florida has made it's name as THE best brunch in town, but now we're on the rise to being known locally as a super fun place for friends and family to come and PAINT festive and themed wine glasses!
That's right, Paint-A-Glass Class is similar in nature to what you might get at a Paint & Sip class, but instead of canvas, its wine glasses! Currently these art classes are held once a month hosted by professional artist Rey of www.artbyrey.com. Each guest coming to the class can expect to get 1 specialty drink such as our Tickle Me Pink Drink, or our Mer-mosa Drink, within a few moments of their arrival. A server is available to take guests orders so that the outing is heightened to an even more enjoyable experience by pairing even more drinking and dining on our delicious food while you paint. (we personally recommend getting one of our charcuterie boards, or the Total Package Pretzel)
Once everyone has wet their whistle a little and taken their seats, the artist begins the class; starting with an introduction of herself, and then leading into some of the fundamentals you'll need in the class to try enamel painting. A slideshow is visible on a large TV screen behind the instructor that show cases detailed step by step break downs of the designs for the class, and the instructor, Rey, makes sure to work closely with each person as needed, without being too overbearing and encroaching on your fun time out. By the end of the class each person who attended walks away with 2 wine glasses fully dried and ready to drink from, completely hand decorated with unique designs! No Paint-A-Glass Class is the same as the next as the artist comes up with new designs for each and every single class. Meaning you can come as many times as you want and there will always be something different being painted. These super fun crafting classes at Formosa Winery have sold out every class since we introduced them, and we hope to soon offer them more than just one time a month. Additionally the artist does offer Paint-A-Glass Classes off-site for private events and you can learn more about that by emailing them directly at artbymeaghanrey@gmail.com. The next class will be November 4th, a Saturday, at 2pm - 4pm and will feature fall Friendsgiving themed designs and you can get your tickets NOW here! After that, you can expect a Holiday / Christmas themed class Saturday, December 2nd from 2pm - 4pm. Tickets are just $45 a person. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to participate (anyone under 21 will be offered a non-alcoholic beverage in place of the included specialty drink given to guests 21+).
